Customized Workshops
Boundless Awareness provides customized group interactive workshops to companies committed to facilitating tough conversations.
Series and Programs
Graduated Workshop Series
For clients who are willing to make a commitment to cultural competency, we offer a graduated series of workshops that increase in difficulty and nuance.
The first workshop would start with foundational concepts of identity, privilege and our individual responsibility to belonging.
The intermediate workshops will continue building the muscle and applying the frameworks to more nuanced topics. We will address the variety of obstacles that stop us from interrupting harmful language and behavior.
Company Retreats
Boundless Awareness facilitates company retreats that fit your company’s interpersonal needs.
An entire day will be devoted to focusing on employee engagement, navigating tough conversations, and the best practices for strengthening communication, trust-building, and belonging within the office. Retreats are typically held on a quarterly basis to ensure continued education.
Lunch and Learns
Lunch & Learns are monthly, 1-hour discussions for any number of staff who want to participate.
These mini-workshops provide new material and targeted interactive activities to give staff more knowledge over a shorter time. These conversations provide the opportunity for continuing education and ensure that anti-oppression work remains top of mind for employees. The first half of the Lunch & Learn focuses on a presentation of material from Boundless Awareness while the second half involves an interactive conversation with participants via role-playing, Q&A, or brainstorming activity.
The Trained Allies Program
The Trained Ally program involves a subset of employees who are trained in allyship and serve as support for those who have experienced or witnessed workplace tensions.
The purpose of this program is to address problems as they occur, thereby reducing stigma and providing employees with an option between submitting an HR complaint and ignoring issues. Through transparency, relationships that may have been harmed can be repaired
Workshop
Customization
Interviews serve two purposes:
1. They allow us to develop a workshop relevant to the needs of the participants.
2. They give us a better understanding of common themes relevant to the group. From these themes, we build pertinent and relatable exercises for each workshop.
We are dedicated to matching your workshop to your needs!
As we create the content for your workshop, we conduct confidential interviews, which are an integral part of the curriculum design.
The interviews give us a ground-level view of the issues occurring in your workplace, individuals’ awareness levels, and an understanding of what material, pedagogy and facilitation style will best work for your staff.
The Process:
1. We will draft language that can be emailed to staff with a scheduling link for the interviews.
2. Interviews are one-hour long, conducted over Zoom, and may be anonymous.
3. When interviews are complete, we present you the broader themes from them. We will further discuss any other information that is relevant to workshop development.
